The Caring Program at Benter Teenage Mothers’ Community-Based Organization (CBO) is a cornerstone initiative designed to provide essential support to teenage mothers and their children, many of whom face overwhelming challenges in their daily lives. This program is rooted in compassion and seeks to alleviate the struggles that these young mothers endure as they balance the demands of school, work, and motherhood.

Activities

Basic Needs Assistance: Distributing essential items such as sanitary pads, nutritional porridge, and diapers to teenage mothers to help them meet their children’s basic needs.

Health and Nutrition: Offering regular health check-ups and nutritional support for both mothers and their children to combat malnutrition and promote overall well-being.

Job Skills Training in Cloth Sewing, Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Baking, Mat-Making, and Beadwork: Empowering teenage mothers by providing them with comprehensive skills training in cloth sewing, hairdressing, beauty therapy, baking, mat-making, and beadwork. These diverse skills enable them to become self-reliant, pursue sustainable livelihoods, and improve their ability to provide for themselves and their children.
