Home Visits
Home visits allows our organization to provide personalized and direct support to teen moms in their own environment. This setting can help build trust, as teen mums may feel more comfortable discussing their challenges and needs when they’re at home. Home visits allows the organization to better understand their unique circumstances, struggles, and strengths of each beneficiary. Teen mothers often experience feelings of isolation, shame, or anxiety. Home visits provide an opportunity for emotional support in a confidential and safe space.
About Home Visits
This was an opportunity to interact with the parents and guardians of our beneficiaries. Meeting with them shades more light on their journey of having a teenage mother in their home and the input they have had in the lives of their daughters. Empowerment of teen moms by showing that someone cares about their well-being and future. Home visits give them the confidence to ask for help when needed, and it helps them feel more capable in managing their lives and their child’s upbringing.
Home visits allow BTM CBO to provide a holistic and practical approach to supporting teen moms, ensuring they have the necessary resources, guidance, and emotional support to thrive both as individuals and parents.
