Miss Brenda is a dedicated physiotherapist known for her generosity and readiness to help others. She consistently demonstrates her commitment to the community by volunteering her expertise in various initiatives, offering essential support and care to those who need it most.

Mary Nthenya has several years of experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing programs. Her passion for youth, combined with her diverse experience across different continents, strengthens her ability to mentor young people into responsible and dignified citizens.

Mr. Lucas Juma, a high school teacher with a Bachelor of Education Arts, is deeply moved by his life experiences to compassionately support the less fortunate. He frequently goes beyond his comfort zone to engage others and is passionate about empowering women against cultural oppression.

Sr. Irene Auma is renowned for her exceptional listening skills and patience. Her religious training, particularly in counseling, has made her a valuable support for those facing despair, depression, or confusion. She is a physiotherapist, currently pursuing further studies at AMREF International University in Kenya.

Fr. Evans’ commitment to supporting teenage mothers serves as both a campaign against teenage pregnancy and a stand against the rejection of young mothers. Born to a teenage mother himself, Fr. Evans believes they deserve guidance, support, and mentorship. This passion inspired the creation of Benter Teenage Mothers’ CBO, named after his late mother, Benter.

Miss Gladys Jeptoo Cherono

Miss Gladys Jeptoo Cherono

Legal Representative

Miss Gladys is the legal representative of Benter Teenage Mothers’ CBO. An advocate of the High Court of Kenya, she is also an arbitrator (MCIARB) and certified mediator (MTI). With over five years of legal practice, she focuses on socio-economic rights, including education, health, and social security. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in International Law at Griffith University, Australia.

Alice is admired for her determination and focus. As a goal-oriented individual, she wholeheartedly pursues what she believes in. She advocates for gender equality, believing no situation should sideline women from contributing to society’s daily affairs. She currently works in England.
